People in Uniform

People in uniform aka border guards, represent the psyche's unconscious boundaries. They show up in "process" dreams as a protective element of the psyche. Master dream interpreter, John Maquilla referred to border guards as protective agents of the collective unconscious. They make sure you are not going crazy or overstepping your boundaries. They are like the frame around your psyche. Possibly the rules of your psyche. They ensure your psyche is ready (or not) for its next advancement. If you are not detained, then you have the support to continue along this path of process. If you are arrested or detained, it may mean a state or aspect of you is stuck in arrested development. You may need to work through something in your life before moving forward with your next psyche's development or advancement.
